Beauveria bassiana has a wide insect host range, therefore, it is possible to impact non-target insects. Make applications in the morning or evening when beneficial insects are less active. Social insects like honeybees, will not be impacted because they keep their hive temperature between 91-96 °F. B. bassiana has an activity range between 50-86 °F, so at high, sustained temperatures, the fungus would simply die without harming adult or larval bees.
