Victor, New York (October 7, 2022) – BioWorks has received approval from the PMRA for URMULE label expansions of their flagship product, RootShield PLUS+ WP. The expanded label now includes suppression of damping off in greenhouse crops and greenhouse vegetable transplants caused by Pythium spp., Rhizoctonia spp., Fusarium spp., and Phytophthora spp. The label is also expanded for greenhouse Herbs and Spices transplants, greenhouse-grown Herbs, and outdoor container-grown herbs. Indoor transplants and Herbs/Spices growers now have a new tool to reduce loss due to root diseases in their crop.

RootShield PLUS+ WP is a biological fungicide labeled for use in organic production. The dual active ingredients prevent a broad spectrum of root diseases and promote healthy root systems. The product forms a protective barrier on the root system to defend against root rot and damping off fungi, driving faster root development resulting in increased water and nutrient uptake.
