Victor, NY – May 15, 2026 – BioWorks, a leading provider of biological crop protection and plant health solutions, announces the launch of TotalNema Ax, a 25(b) botanical nematicide designed to effectively prevent yield loss, stunted growth and wilting from nematode damage. TotalNema Ax supports commercial production in outdoor specialty crop systems including potatoes, onions, strawberries, leafy greens, and other high-value crops.
TotalNema Ax controls plant-parasitic nematode populations through direct contact, disrupting respiratory systems and causing paralysis. Formulated with a proprietary blend of botanical oils, TotalNema Ax delivers strong efficacy with 0-hour REI and multiple application methods for maximum operational flexibility for growers.
Efficacy Trial Results
- In a field trial recording the control of root-knot nematodes on cotton, TotalNema Ax had an 83% control rate 96 hours after treatment, compared to a 44% control rate from a competitive product.
- In a field trial recording vascular ring on Manistee potato, TotalNema Ax significantly reduced vascular ring symptoms by 80% associated with Verticillium infection.
- In a field trial recording the management early die complex on potatoes, crops treated with TotalNema Ax had an increased total yield of 22.5%.
