Chemigation rates are the same for several different types of applications, such as micro-sprinklers, center pivot, pressurized drench (flood), drip (trickle), furrow, spaghetti tube soil-directed hand-held calibrated irrigation and more. See the RootShield® WP label for more applications types included under chemigation.
Complete the fields above to calculate the low and high label rates according to the RootShield® WP label. Units of measure can be altered both in the calculator and for final volume of product - please pay special attention to the final units used to apply the proper amount of product
Click here for more information about pot size assumptions for calculating volume requirements. Note that due to variation among manufacturers, pot sizes and drench amount are provided as a guide and are not intended to be an exact reference.
For shallow pots, apply at a rate of 50 - 100 gallons per 800 sq. ft. For deeper beds or pots, apply at a rate of 100 gallons per 400 sq. ft. The above volume of solution is our maximum recommended water for the given area/pot size and quantity.
The label is the law. This tool is intended to be supplementary to the label and help with it's interpretation - please refer back to the label to ensure correct application rates and application methods.
