Chemigation rates are the same for several different types of applications, such as over head boom-type sprayers or sprinklers, mist-type irrigation systems, sprinklers such as impact or microsprinklers, center pivot, lateral move, pressurized drench (flood) or drip (trickle) systems, furrow, micro-irrigation such as spaghetti-tube or individual tube irrigation, hand-held calibrated irrigation equipment, and more. See the RootShield® PLUS+ WP label for more applications types included under chemigation.
The maximum application rate for greenhouse chemigation of flowers, bedding plants, and ornamentals is substantially higher than other crops. This selection will modify the total high rate at the end of the calculator.
The application rates for cutting & bare-root dip of tropical and subtropical fruits and inedible peels is higher than other crops. This selection will modify the total rate at the end of the calculator.
Pot Type
Click here for more information about pot size assumptions for calculating volume requirements. Note that due to variation among manufacturers, pot sizes and drench amount are provided as a guide and are not intended to be an exact reference.
Skip this field if you will not being using an injector system. If you are planning on using an injector, what concentration is your injector adding the concentrate to the final solution?
For injection, use volume of stock/concentrated solution.

Final Product Needed

Complete the fields above to calculate the low and high label rates according to the RootShield® PLUS+ WP label. Units of measure can be altered both in the calculator and for final volume of product - please pay special attention to the final units used to apply the proper amount of product

For shallow pots, apply at a rate of 50 - 100 gallons per 800 sq. ft. For deeper beds or pots, apply at a rate of 100 gallons per 400 sq. ft. The above volume of solution is our maximum recommended water for the given area/pot size and quantity.

The label is the law. This tool is intended to be supplementary to the label and help with it's interpretation - please refer back to the label to ensure correct application rates and application methods.
